Threat Level Elevated

Google has posted Chrome 8.0.552.215 to fix a number of vulnerabilities that could allow execution of arbitrary code, denial-of-service attacks, and loss of information or bypass of security.

WordPress has released version 3.0.2 to fix a number of problems including a vulnerability that could allow a malicious operator with author-level privileges to gain access to the site. WordPress notice here:

Apple has released iOS version 4.2 for the iPad, iPhone, iPod and iPod Touch to fix vulnerabilities that could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code, make a call, launch a denial-of-service attack, gain system privileges or access sensitive information.

Apple has released new versions of Safari (5.0.3 and 4.1.3) to fix vulnerabilities in Safari and WebKit that could allow an intruder to execute arbitrary code or launch a denial-of-service attack.
